Environmental Statement

The Environment

We are committed to minimising our impact on the environment, and where possible we encourage our suppliers, partners and clients to do the same. This is an issue we are passionate about and we are constantly striving to make improvements. If you have any further suggestions about how we can improve our environmental impact, please contact us.

Carbon Offset

We are committed to offsetting our carbon emissions. In 2008 we planted over 2000 trees at our offices in West Yorkshire.

Web Hosting

All our websites are hosted on servers which are 100% powered and cooled by renewable energy. In addition, the servers are energy efficient and require less electricity.

Transport

We avoid unnecessary journeys & maximise the use of conference calls. However, our business requires regular face to face contact, so for these journeys we use rail travel where possible.

Minimising waste

We operate as close to a paperless office as is possible. We use electronic documents wherever we are able, internally as well as with suppliers, partners and clients. We only print if essential. Our paper is 100% recycled.

Efficient use of energy

Our systems are very efficient and use a minimal amount of energy. Our electricity is supplied by a renewable energy supplier, and at the end of each day we ‘switch off’.
